Call me Switzy

I can’t wait until January 7th comes for the FRC kickoff. I am so excited and yet am scared to death at the same time. I hope the team can come together and prove people wrong about us. I hope that people’s attitudes can take a 180 turn. I hope that my teammates will care. I hope that we can prove all the doubters that they were wrong. This is no longer about us, but rather it is much bigger then we are. It is about the school, the students that follow us, and the girls interested in STEM careers. What we do now will dictate what opportunities there are for them. It is no longer about us, but rather about them.  I hope that my teammates will see in themselves what I see in everyone of them, a game changer; and I hope they will act upon it. What we do starts right now, right here, so let’s make it count.
